Where to begin! Exams are here …studying seems to be on everyone’s agenda …it is finally raining (where I am at least), and most importantly spending time with old friends is the highlight of my month.
About two weekends ago (before studying was even an idea in my mind) I decided I need a break, and what better way to do that than having the best weekend with your friends from high school. I must admit that we all promised we would visit a lot and never stop talking but with each of us having such a hectic schedule we tend to forget to make the effort, so what better way to catch up than having the weekend of a lifetime. We played 30 seconds till late at night, we sat on the pavement greeting passers by (take note I think they thought we were crazy) and lets not forget we went shopping. I feel more relaxed and happy than I have in ages, and not even exams will change that.
As the clouds roll I’m not exactly in the mood to study, maybe sleep or read a non-school related book, but to study, no. I do however know how important the upcoming exams (which are really close) are so studying it shall be. One note of advice is, to plan ahead, the amount of notes and papers that there are to contend with in varsity isn’t funny, so even if you dont want to start studying just yet, at least make sure that all the papers you need are with the books tbey need to be, believe me to do paper hunting when you’re supposed to be studying is no fun.
Tertiary education isn’t that bad to be honest, but if you go in with the expectation of being the life of every party and still maintaining your good grades you are totally bluffing yourself. Going to varsity, no matter what you are studying , is a big decision and not an easy one.
Be calm and study! Cause there isnt much else to do.
